Makana Market & In-Suite Dining Manager , you will be responsible for curating a superior guest experience through effective leadership, planning and directing of all activities while delivering top line revenue, colleague engagement, guest satisfaction and fiscal results.Salary Range: $76,000-$82,000What you will be doing:Oversee all aspects of Makana Market and In-Suite Dining operations.Provide an active presence during peak business hoursKeep up with current trends in retail merchandising, Café coffee culture and in-room luxury dining and experiencesTarget areas that will allow Makana Market and In-Suite Dining to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction resultsEvaluate areas with opportunities for revenue growth through implementation of new retail sets, menus and amenity options that cater to our guests needs and anticipate their wantsManage labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and forecastingCompile month end financial recap of Makana Market and In Suite Dining to include actual results versus forecast/budget/previous year and submission of analysisEnsure all brand standards and programs are in place and maintained.Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods for all food and beverage venues on propertyCollaborate with other departments at the Kea Lani to contribute to the overall smooth operation of the hotelDrive revenue and profit through the implementation of strategies, practices, and promotionsDevelop and implement branded logo related application, product, and merchandising standardsConduct monthly and Quarterly Inventory counts for both venuesRecruit, motivate, coach, and discipline Makana Market and In Suite Dining colleaguesLead Front of House team in all aspects of the venues’ culture to ensure service & hospitality standards are followedTrain, evaluate and promote the growth and development of internal talentComplete one-on-one meetings and performance reviews in accordance with company guidelinesMaintain the safety and sanitation of the restaurant in adherence to local Health Department, and EHC safety guidelinesMaintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests, remaining calm and courteous at all timesCreate and maintain department specific policies, procedures and service standards. Follow hotel and departmental policies, procedures and service standards that are already in placeContribute to the improvement of the operation by contributing ideas, making suggestions, soliciting feedback and actively participating in departmental communication meetings

QualificationsYour experience and skills include:Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of colleagues in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented mannerMust be able to speak, read, write and understand the English languageRequires good communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust possess basic computational abilityMust possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail functionsEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent or vocational trainingExperienceMinimum of two years management experience in Food & Beverage operations or Retail Operations requiredExperience in Silverware system is an assetLicenses or CertificatesTB ClearanceMaui County Liquor CardFood Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification
