Billing Specialist
for our
Project Accounting
group. This position is designated as
hybrid (3 days/week in the office)
for our
Los Angeles, CA
office.This position will perform all aspects of the day-to-day project accounting functions on current projects for which they are responsible in accordance with the established accounting standards and billing policy. Duties include contract administration and support, as well as administrative and executive support functions to the Operations Team and Regional Manager.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Ensures projects are set up and maintained in accordance with contractual terms and conditionsPrepares client invoices in accordance with company billing policy guidelinesReviews and processes vendor and sub-consultant invoicesReviews and monitors project cost/performanceReconciles revenue monthly to ensure that revenues and billings are in alignmentReviews Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payment of invoicesReviews projects regularly for closeoutWorks closely with Project Managers and provides Support Team to meet the overall financial and operational objectives of the regionProvides contract administration and related supportMinimum Qualifications:Associates Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experienceExperience in finance or project accountingProactive in solving problemsStrong organizational and time management skillsDetail-orientedExperience in billing within the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry is requiredIdeal candidate will demonstrate:Ability to work both independently and within a team environmentHigh degree of discretion and ability to manage highly confidential informationStrong sense of responsiveness to requestsEffective communication and working relationship with internal leaders and peers, as well as external clientsAbility to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive tasksData analysis and interpretation skillsHighly motivated and problem-solving attitudeCompensation Range:$42,820.00 - $57,094.00STV is committed to expanding our culture of diversity and inclusion.
