Clay Bavor . Bret was most recently co-CEO of Salesforce, which had previously acquired the company he founded, Quip. Before founding Quip, Bret was the CTO of Facebook. Bret was one of Google's earliest product managers and one of the co-creators of Google Maps. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

What You’ll Do:

As an Executive Assistant supporting the go-to-market (GTM) function at Sierra, you will provide a wide range of strategic and administrative support for our go-to-market leadership team.

Proactively manage calendars, including scheduling sales and partnership meetings, discovery calls, legal contract negotiations, etc.

Ensure the effectiveness of meetings by sending preparation and follow-up materials and being an active and knowledgeable resource on the organization or topic on hand.

Provide the GTM leadership team with communications assistance, such as writing and editing emails and drafting team communications.

Plan and execute internal events (in-person and virtual), including team offsites, trainings, and team travel weeks. Support external events, including customer/prospect happy hours, sporting events, leadership in market tours, and beyond.

Book travel and hotel accommodations, negotiating contracts as needed.

Collect and organize sales agreements, legal documents, etc., partnering with external vendors on legal and advisory needs.

Establish new and improve existing administrative systems and processes while helping build the founding Sierra admin team.

What You’ll Bring:

5+ years of Executive Assistant or similar experience.

Ability to build relationships, partnering effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Excellent time management skills, willingness to quickly shift tasks and priorities, and anticipate the needs of others before they arise.

Ability to organize, analyze, and prioritize executive workflows, often using and interpreting data.

Willingness and ability to travel as needed (est. 2x per quarter).

Advanced proficiency with Google Suite.
