Supply Chain Manager, Packaging Process & Analytics

The Material Planning group in Supply Chain is responsible for the reliable and efficient flow of all production materials to Tesla’s factories and Service locations. The returnable packaging team is managing packaging assets that are used to move parts between suppliers and Tesla factories. This is an analytical supply chain role, interacting with suppliers, Finance, Material Planning, Logistics, Global Supply Management, Packaging Engineering, and Production Control in order to ensure returnables packaging programs are running at best efficiency for packaging cost optimization.Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success in this role. Candidates should have strong analytical and project management skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization. Candidates should be willing to work at both a very detailed and strategic level.The ideal candidate will have a background in Supply Chain/Logistics analytics and processes.
