STV currently has an opening in our Boston Office for a Resident Engineer for our Transportation Division to work on transportation, facilities, and bridge projects in the Boston Area. The Resident Engineer should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer on infrastructure and preferably transportation infrastructure construction projects.Candidate should have experience with and working knowledge of MassDOT and MBTA policies, procedures, and specifications. Possess excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills. The Resident Engineer leads and supervises/manages a field staff (including monitoring budgets) for inspection of construction; reviews the construction schedule and chairs job-related meetings; reviews and monitors the Contractor for contract compliance; reviews and provides recommendations to the Design Engineer concerning Contractor's Requests and serves as the Owner's on-site representative with the Contractor to coordinate and monitor matters of quality, schedule, cost, and substantial conformance to the contract documents.Required Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.5 years of relevant Resident Engineering experience with infrastructure construction projects.Master's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus.CCM certificate a plus.Experience on railroad construction projects a plus.NETTCP Certifications are highly desired.Compensation Range: $114,960.00 - $153,281.00STV is committed to paying all its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
