Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to:Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materialConceptualize, research and produce marketing materials, proposals, promotions and presentations including non-technical writingDevelop and manage proposal schedules and confirm complianceEngage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teamsLead quality reviews of proposal and interview materialsLead and support interview coaching and presentation development for shortlist interviewsFacilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitivenessDeconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittalTrain and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practicesArticulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantagesPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related fieldDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersAbility and desire to travel and engage with others in-personDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staffThe role requires a significant amount of self-direction and ability for forward thinking.Works cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, national, technical managers and project staff.Requires little or no direction in area of specialization.Demonstrates understanding of market and technical proposals.Ability to compose documents onscreen and to communicate graphically.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work under deadlines is a must.Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversightExperience in sales and developing effective win strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
