Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Information Technology or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field that includes a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Computer Science, or Information Technology. All degrees must come from regionally accredited institutions. Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching. For positions that may include online teaching, candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to successfully structure and implement a distance-education-based course.FTE:

The Department of Math and Computer Science has a need for part-time or adjunct faculty to teach courses in the following subject areas: Computer Programming Languages (including Java, C++, MIPS assembly), Computer Organization, Operating Systems, Networking, Website Development, Digital Logic, and Database Systems. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. These positions are especially suited for potential faculty who possess terminal degrees in Computer Science or Information Technology or have a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate course work in relevant fields of Computer Science or Information Technology. Excellence in teaching and learning conducted within a rigorous and stimulating environment is an important core value of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The Math and Computer Science Department have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and part-time faculty are expected to exhibit and maintain campus and department standards.Management Preference:
