A National Leading law Firm is seeking a full-time Senior Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal to join its Complex Tort Litigation practice group. This position is based in their Washington, D.C. office.The ideal Senior Litigation Paralegal will play a key role in the practice group and will be responsible for administering legal and operational aspects of processing high volume mass tort cases. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, and other related correspondence with attorney oversight.Preparing and filing court documents with attorney oversight.Interviewing prospective clients with attorney oversight.Communicating with clients.Managing and organizing client documents and data.Opening and tracking new litigation matters.Acting as a liaison among all required parties, and other organizations for scheduling and information sharing.Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.Managing cases and working with attorneys on various matters.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal overseeing mass tort cases.Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience within a law firm.Comprehensive knowledge and strong understanding of mass tort actions, civil litigation, and relevant terminology with a track record of successfully supporting attorneys in mass tort cases.Analytical and resourceful problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.Skills & Abilities:Experience and willingness to file cases in state or federal courts.Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Client-oriented with excellent customer service skills.Strong work ethic and sense of professionalism and discretion, demonstrating accountability, integrity, judgment, and respect for confidentiality.Adept at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, engaging effectively with all levels of employees and management across the Firm.They are offering a comprehensive benefits and compensation package.
