Senior Coordinator

to join the team located in Santa Monica, CA. The Senior Coordinator will support the MD Licensing division for the development and distribution of Aniplex of America Inc.'s original products, participation in anime-related conventions, hosting of a pop-up shop, or importing anime-related products. This position requires deep knowledge regarding the manufacturing of products and conventions, and communication skills for internal and outside the division and company. The ideal candidate will take the initiative to act passively to achieve the goal.The position has a HYBRID schedule. Employees are expected to work onsite in the Santa Monica office at least 2 days per week.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the supervision of the Sr. Merchandising Specialist, the candidate will perform the following duties:Inventory control and management of import/export productsAct as point of contact for dealers and the head office overseas, and manage sales and receipts of inventoryProduct tracking and delivery arrangementsAssist with determining which products to sell at retailers (including major US corporate accounts) and e-commerce shops; determine pricing and promotional productsManage status of sales from e-commerce and stores/wholesalersGeneral office work such as creating and submitting reports to head office overseasBusiness trip to out of state warehouse at the end of the year for inventory countSubsequent inventory adjustment and follow-upBusiness trip to out of state conventionsConvention Store / Event Store Planning / Scheduling / Operation / Controlling BudgetPromotional Items ProductionDomestic Products Planning / Design and Production / Approval / Timeline managementVendor (Current and Potential) managementNegotiations with HQ and the committeePerform other duties as neededQUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITIONJapanese/English Bilingual2-3 years total merchandising development experience2-3 years total conventions experiencePast experience and knowledge in the anime industry is highly preferredBachelor's degreeStrong attention to details and accuracyStrong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skillsStrong management and communication skillsStrong proficiency in Excel (experience with PivotTables and VLookups a plus)Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to organize and deliver meaningful insight from large amounts of dataProficiency in Microsoft Windows and OfficeMust be available for business trips/travelStrong with numbers and attentive to detailsEligible to work unrestricted in the USAIn addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an environment and culture that promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
