PTC is seeking an ambitious salesperson to drive new digital transformation sales opportunities within the Midwest US region. This Senior Account Executive (or Enterprise Account Executive) role will require you to manage and grow assigned installed accounts and create a large pipeline of business in white-space accounts, primarily within a geographical territory, consisting of large customers. You will work with cross-functional teams to formulate account strategies and bring opportunities to closure on a quarterly basis.In this role, you will drive key activities, including prospecting, strategy planning, executive relationship development, and discovery assessment while ensuring alignment amongst the PTC ecosystem. You will work closely with other members across the business to drive and lead growth in outcome-driven revenue generation, partnering closely with leaders to drive the creation and development of an overall sales readiness vision in the context of our global business. In this role, you would be responsible for building out your market, as well as maintaining the relationship with our existing clients in terms of strategic planning and expansion.Day-To-Day:
Develop a deep understanding of current and potential customer business needs to create value to customers with our solutions.Define and drive account strategies in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to solve our customers' needs.Develop and execute an Account Playbook that formalizes the 'go high / go low' strategy for the Enterprise accounts.Maintain and build upon strong customer pipeline management to drive predictable outcomes.Actively grow and maintain multi-year account plans that will be shared globally with parts of our business including Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, and the Development teams to ensure long-term alignment.Lead the implementation of economic value selling throughout the customer's organization.Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of proven track record as an account executive selling Enterprise Software holding yearly quota of at least $1M.Ability to work remote from the Midwest region of the USA, ideally Greater Chicagoland area.Willingness to travel for customer engagements, ~25% of time.Positive attitude and aptitude.Bachelor's Degree.Preferred Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with large enterprise senior line-of-business and IT executives.Experience managing your business on a monthly basis vs. quarterly / yearly.An organized, detailed, and metrics-driven approach to drive the sales cycle from appointment to close.A passion for winning together in collaboration with the broader team with high customer focus.Ability to anticipate potential objections and craft solutions leveraging best practices by getting in front of potential resistance.Experience selling into industrial manufacturing customers a plus!Life at PTC is about more than working with today's most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
