The Vermont Attorney General’s Office has an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division.Description
This Assistant Attorney General will work closely with victims of crimes of all ages, as well as criminal justice agencies including federal, state, county, and municipal law enforcement entities. The position involves conducting all aspects of prosecution, including investigation, discovery, depositions, hearings, motion practice, trial, and appeals. Further, the Assistant Attorney General will be actively involved in the investigation and prosecution of cases with our Internet Crimes Against Children unit, which specializes in combatting child exploitation.This position offers the opportunity to serve the public in an exciting, dynamic practice and be an integral part of State government, in addition to workplace flexibility and very competitive benefits.Compensation
This Assistant Attorney General position is an exempt full-time position. Salary and benefits will be based upon qualifications and experience in accordance with the State of Vermont Attorney Pay Plan.
