The civil litigation associate position offers a wide range of challenging litigation work, managing various phases of litigation for assigned cases, all phases of discovery, appearing before state and federal courts, performing legal research, drafting pleadings, motions and briefs, conducting depositions, developing facts, making legal arguments, and reporting case updates to the managing attorney and clients in defense of our clients. This position will develop strategies for litigated matters, including commercial, regulatory, product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, personal injury, construction defect, professional liability, and insurance-coverage matters.Qualifications

2+ years of experience in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense, professional liability defense, and/or construction defect litigation.Strong research and writing capabilities are a must.Ideal candidate has significant experience and developed talent in the areas of trial and deposition, legal writing, and legal research.Bar license in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina.Additional Information
