The Calamos Wealth Management (CWM) Associate Wealth Advisor

is responsible for providing front-line service to high-net-worth clients, providing front and back-office support to the Senior Wealth Advisor, and generally acting as liaison to the Wealth Management Wealth Advisor team. The Associate Wealth Advisor assists with account administration and provides support for the day-to-day processing of investment accounts. This position has direct contact with CWM clients.Primary Responsibilities:

Consistently works to deepen existing relationships with high-net-worth investors to enhance their client experience, expand CWM engagement with clients, as well as increase share of client wallet with CWM.Provides exceptional client support in an efficient, timely, and professional manner. This role involves heavy client contact both by phone and in email, with occasional in-person meetings and client events.Handles client onboarding processes; includes obtaining and organizing client information and statements, pre-populating outgoing new account paperwork for client signature, monitoring account funding and transfers, and answering client questions regarding paperwork.Assists in complex account maintenance requests and money movements, involving direct communication with clients and custodians (e.g., wire and check requests, Power of Attorney, Trust reregistration, letters of instruction, restrictions, etc.).Assists Senior Wealth Advisor in preparation of new client onboarding and implementation materials, client meeting materials, performance reporting and related deliverables, as well as preparation of investment proposals (including regulatory considerations and fee analysis) and reviews.Leads CWM projects as assigned, involving direct communication with internal partners, including senior management.Logs all contacts each day as they are made in the CRM system, including inbound/outbound calls, voicemails, emails, literature, conference calls and is proficient in the use of social media tools to communicate with clients and prospective clients of the Senior Wealth Advisor.Maintains current and detailed desktop procedures; makes recommendations for process improvements to create efficiencies.Performs related duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance/accounting, economics or related discipline is required.Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 65 license required or willingness to obtain.3+ years financial services industry experience in a sales/client support capacity.Has the desire to advance to Wealth Advisor role within 3-5 years.Must be organized and goal-oriented. A high attention to detail is essential.Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal office staff and external clients.Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle many projects at one time, and flexible regarding priority shifts.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Experience using DocuSign, CRM tools (i.e., Dynamics 365), and Wealthscape a plus.
