What you’ll do
As Brex’s first Recruiting & Office Coordinator, you will join our amazing team of Recruiting Coordinators to support recruiters, interviewers, and candidates throughout the interview process. You will report to the Recruiting team and partner closely with the Workplace Experience team, serving as a culture champion as we bring our offices back to life for the first time in 4 years. You will work alongside the Employee Experience, Leadership, and Recruiting teams to help drive various People team initiatives, such as opening our brand new Seattle office.
The ideal candidate is interested in gaining exposure to all aspects of the recruiting process – from sourcing to operations and candidate experience – and has a passion for cultivating an engaging and productive workplace community.
Responsibilities
Recruiting Coordination:
Schedule, coordinate, and manage interviews across multiple timezones in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Serve as the point of contact for candidates throughout their interview process, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
Prioritize daily tasks while maintaining responsiveness with candidates, recruiters, interviewers, and team members
Proactively identify gaps and opportunities for improvement to guarantee a seamless hiring process as Brex scales
Build trust with your internal stakeholders through effective communication and problem-solving
Office Coordination:
Manage the front-of-house experience for all guests and employees, ensuring a functional and welcoming office environment
Manage relationships with vendors and building management, ensuring all office operations run smoothly
Oversee the office supplies and snack program, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized
Triage office requests within appropriate (SLAs) and support the Workplace team’s goals by taking on ad hoc projects as needed
Collaborate with Workplace, IT, and HR teams to maintain and implement office policies and processes
Serve as the onsite contact for maintenance visits, shipping, mailing, deliveries, and inventory management
Act as the culture ambassador by partnering with the Employee Experience team to coordinate activities, meetings, and other community events
Requirements
2+ years of experience in administrative, coordination, or office management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize accordingly
Keen attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills
Comfortable learning new technologies (ex: Greenhouse, CodeSignal, ModernLoop)
Must be willing to work in the office 5 days per week
Compensation
The expected pay range for this role is $37.82 - $47.26.
However, the starting hourly pay will depend on a number of factors including candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. This pay range reflects a standard work week, however, as an hourly employee if you exceed these hours, you will be paid overtime. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
