Payroll Manager!What You’ll Do:The ideal candidate will have prior experience processing payroll in a complex, dynamic and diverse environment and will be able to leverage prior US payroll experience to help create scalable processesTo be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be organized and deadline-driven, ensuring recurring assignments are handled on a timely basis while contributing to special projects and addressing unusual developmentsTake the lead on managing the company’s sales commission tool softwareBe the first point of contact for sales commission escalations, questions, and inquiriesExperience interfacing with equity administrationAbility to manage workload in a SOX-compliant environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate across departments and at all levelsUnderstanding of various employment tax and overtime rules, employee 401K, incentive/bonus offerings, multi-state payroll, leave of absence pay integration, and termination processingExceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions to complex or non-standard situationsStrong work ethic and ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced work environmentPrepare payroll-related journal entries and assist with month-end and quarterly close activitiesPerform other payroll-related duties, including ad hoc projects/system implementation/testing, data requests as neededSupport ad hoc accounting and revenue operations projectsThe Right Fit:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field required10+ years of relevant work experienceExperience with ADP Workforce Now requiredExperience administering compensation plans and any commission toolsAdvanced Microsoft Excel SkillsExperience with Spiff sales commission tool is a plusA process-driven approach, with natural curiosityEfficiency and improvement-focusedKnowledge of federal, state, local and other laws, including filing of returns as neededPositive work ethic, strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level ofattention to detailKnowledge of equity award and applicable taxesAt this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the job description you're reading.
