We are looking for a
Clinical Director
to join our team! This position is responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical department including supervision, evaluation, and scheduling. The
Clinical Director
develops, plans and implements strategies for program continuation and growth, and provides clinical training to staff and interns.
Job Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring that substance abuse counseling services are provided as specified in the client treatment plan, and coordinated with other client care services if applicable. Experience and confidence identifying and implementing evidence-based practices, and working in crisis settings with individuals and families.
Experience with staff supervision, including expertise transforming clinical staff into a highly functional team.
Regularly review and recommend changes in program services to meet client needs with emphasis on services for underserved populations, oversight of program evaluation and quality assurance functions for department, including assessment of applicable legal and professional requirements, and monitoring treatment plans for clients.
Providing or ensuring and documenting that direct clinical supervision is provided to clinical staff, and providing orientation to and evaluation of new counseling staff prior to the assignment of counseling responsibilities.
Working with the Executive Director and CFO to assure guidance and support for clinical growth.
Qualifications
Masters level clinical degree and 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible program management experience in a substance use disorder treatment facility.
Licensed as either an LCADC and CCS; or LCSW and CCS (New Jersey), Dual licensure preferred.
