The Senior Accountant will manage several financial and accounting responsibilities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements and financial controls. You will have a background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and team leadership.What You’ll DoPrepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations with critical evaluation of outcomesReview general ledger transaction details throughout the month to improve month-end close timelines, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of information recordedIndependently resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularitiesIdentify trends, opportunities, and risks, and recommend actions to enhance financial performanceAnalyze actual results across multiple reporting segments and provide explanations for variance to plan and prior yearCoordinate and support annual financial audits, ensuring all audit requirements and inquiries are metRefine financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, implementing best practices to improve financial operationsPropose improvements to internal controls to mitigate risks and maintain complianceProvide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, encouraging a collaborative and high-performing team environmentCollaborate with teams to ensure accurate financial data flow across the organizationWhat You’ll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA Certification PreferredMinimum 3 years of progressive accounting experienceKnowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).Proficient in accounting software (ERP systems)What We OfferCoverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver)Flexible PTO plan401k matching planHSA employer contributionsStudent loan assistanceAN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER:
