Job SummaryHoly Names Academy seeks a full-time, year-round Director of Advancement to lead a strong and successful advancement program. The candidate works with a team of professionals to develop, implement, and assess fundraising programs that support the mission of the school.
ResponsibilitiesPromote a culture of philanthropy that supports the strategic initiatives of the school.Cultivate and engage donors and steward donor gifts.Supervise and inspire a talented and dedicated team of advancement professionals.Direct and oversee annual giving, endowment, and planned giving programs.Provide oversight for two annual auctions and the alumnae program.Solicit major and lead gifts both on an annual basis and as part of any initiative or campaign.Work with the Advancement Committees of the Board of Trustees to review current programs and explore new possibilities.
QualificationsProfessional experience in fundraising.Ability to lead and inspire others, both staff and volunteers.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.Ability to solicit a wide range of gifts.Strong collaborative teamwork skills.
