Job SummaryHoly Names Academy seeks a friendly, resourceful, and creative professional to join our team as Advancement Auction Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing HNA’s fun and meaningful annual auction fundraisers—Deck The Dome (December) and CHEER (April). The position is full-time during the year and off for six weeks in the summer and most school holidays.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive auction plan in collaboration with staff, parents, and volunteers.

Secure sponsors, advertisers, and donations from local businesses, community members, and other stakeholders.

Oversee volunteer recruitment, engagement, training, and scheduling.

Plan outreach efforts, and create materials to generate excitement, encourage participation in the auctions, and thank donors, via direct mail, digital collateral, handwritten notes, and content in various HNA publications.

Coordinate all logistics for the events, including vetting and securing vendors.

Manage the registration, bidding, checkout, and follow-up processes before, during, and after the events.

Strategize about and track expenses to optimize the attendee experience while maximizing revenue and ensuring that events stay within budget.

Promote a culture of collective giving within the HNA community, and assist Advancement team members with hosting stewardship and alumnae events.

Support the safety and well-being of students, and contribute to school operations, as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in auctions, fundraising, sales, and/or event planning.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and people-centered with a strong orientation toward providing warm, responsive, and professional customer service.

Comfortable with direct one-to-one donor solicitation.

First-rate organizational and project management skills to manage concurrent projects and competing priorities.

Solid writing and communication skills to create compelling content.

Ability to thrive proactively and independently while working as a team player.

Availability to work multiple weekends and evening events with a positive attitude.

Strong computer skills, including facility with Microsoft Office and proficiency with (or commitment to becoming proficient with) OneCause, Raiser’s Edge, Canva, Emma, etc.

Non-smoker.

Salary range is $74k-$84k.
