General Manager
works in collaboration with operations, corporate support departments, and transportation providers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of transportation services. Will act as the internal liaison between departments and clients to ensure that the location is fully compliant with all contractual requirements.This position is contingent upon award of contract.Location: 1015 Transit Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80903What you’ll do:Contract oversight and facilitation of client needs with anticipation of growthIdentify potential risk and develop resolution processesContinually analyze program needs and productivity and adjust staffing and resources to ensure cost effectivenessDevelopment of or oversight of documentation or work plans as required or neededEmployee training and developmentThorough understanding of the contract, MTM Transit policies and employee handbook guidelinesDevelop a working relationship with client to ensure exceptional customer service needs and problem resolution processes are in placeAct as a liaison between MTM Transit and client to address any concerns or issues that may arise and do so in a timely mannerAct in a consultative manner, developing and presenting annual plan reviewsProvide education and information to client regarding MTM Transit procedures, services available, and changes within the Para-Transit industryMaintain a “Safety First” attitude with client and personnelGood understanding or local climate needs and issues pertaining to the passenger transportation industryThorough understanding of ridership policies to ensure smooth transportation servicesCapability of addressing any questions / concerns regarding site transit programMaintain all employee and vehicle files in accordance with FTA and DOT guidelinesDevelop and maintain thorough knowledge of MTM Transit departments and compliance programs within eachMonitor performance of direct reports and provide coaching and guidanceOversight of Federally mandated Drug and Alcohol programPerform additional duties as assigned or requiredWhat you’ll need:Experience, Education & Certifications:At least 7 years of experience in transit management with expertise in Fixed Route from larger systemsExperience managing a site of 50+ employeesPrior contract and or project management experience preferredExperience monitoring the delivery of contractual servicesMust possess a valid current driver’s licenseRequired to have capabilities as it relates to data analyticsSkills:Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people and job positionsAbility to acquire in-depth knowledge of MTM Transit operations, company policies, and guidelinesAbility to acquire in-depth knowledge of computerized transit routing systemsData analysisExceptional interpretation and problem solving skillsAbility to schedule, organize and prioritize multiple tasksUnderstanding of budget and cost analysisModerate to advanced computer skillsAbility working with data reporting and analyticsKnowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulationsAbility to establish key processes and proceduresAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityEven better if you have...Previous management experience in the Para-Transit or livery industries, preferredPrior contract and or project management experience preferredWhat’s in it for you:Health and Life Insurance PlansDental and Vision Plans401(k) with a company matchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayMaternity/Paternity LeaveCasual Dress EnvironmentTuition ReimbursementMTM Perks Discount ProgramLeadership Mentoring OpportunitiesSalary Min: $90,720/ annuallySalary Max: $136,080/ annuallyThis information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
