And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.The Head of Global Supply Chain Strategy for Power and Cooling is responsible for developing clear organizational action plans to drive the most nimble, agile, and resilient supply chains. Enabling to achieve the best availability of equipment and solutions at the lowest total cost of ownership in order to fuel the exponential growth across our Data Centers as we meet and exceed customer demand. In this role you will lead internal and external engagements across Supply Chain, Engineering and Business organizations diving deep into the technologies and operations both from a product and supply chain perspective. You will analyze trends involving the industry suppliers, customers, and technology to develop strategies to secure supply, reduce cost, minimize risk, and utilize emerging opportunities, allowing AWS to meet and exceed its goals. You will be part of the conceptual development of future and existing data center architecture design changes as a supply chain subject matter expert influencing the supply base technological road maps to align with the long-term AWS vision.Key job responsibilities

Develop and implement cross-organizational strategies at a global scaleDrive innovation through the supply chain influencing industry practices and technologies at a multi-category – portfolio level.Lead the organizations design for excellence (DFX) approach development and executionBe a key member of the global basis of design (BOD) committee orchestrating the analysis of design change impacts to the supply chain for the overall category portfolio under the Power and Cooling organization.Requires travel up to 15% of the year.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related quantitative field10+ years professional experience in supply chain and operations5+ years building and leading successful operations teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Management, or Technology preferredAbility to work with teams at all levels of the organizationExperience in data center capital equipment supply chainsOutstanding oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.Exceptional analytical and project management skillsExhibits excellent business judgmentAbout the team
