Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be supporting procurement ops for data center construction categories. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.We ensure our customers receive world class procurement and supply chain support through the entire procure to pay process. Customer Obsession, Bias for Action, and Ownership are the core of all we do.Data Center Services Procurement (DCSP) supports Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) in obtaining the best services at the lowest costs, and manages the full “Supplier Lifecycle” including Strategic Sourcing and Intake, Onboarding, Solicitations, Spending and Transaction Policy (S&TP) Compliance, Contract management, Supplier Development, as well as all the follow on activities with Requisitioning and Payment Operations.Key Responsibilities

Ensuring operations procurement complianceDocumenting operations scope and processesImplementing mechanisms to increase procurement efficienciesManaging procurement processes consistently on a regional basisMonthly and weekly reporting to Sr leadership by category of all procurement ops transactionsBecome a subject matter expert on all systems and policies related to team programsManage PR queues and intake workflowsPO processes and resolving systems related issuesMinimize invoice approval escalations and holdsWork with App development teams and define process requirementsMinimum Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience2+ years of supply chain experienceBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQLExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience3+ years of driving process improvements experienceExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesAbout AWS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.This position will remain posted until filled.
