It provides client-centered technical services to USAID’s Missions worldwide, supports programming to innovate, learn, and address emerging issues, and provides technical leadership within the Agency and externally to enhance development impact. The Bureau’s Center for Education (EDU) leverages its expertise, partnerships, and global perspective to guide and influence the education sector, advancing U.S. Government development priorities.Location:

Full salary range for this position is: $670.08 - $726.96 daily rate with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education, in addition to budget availability.Clearance:

Able to obtain and maintain a facility clearanceResponsibilitiesReview sectoral- and sub-sectoral reporting requirements, analyze and summarize results for reporting, draft reports in required templates and manage reviews and clearances of reporting. Reporting will include, but not be limited to:Gender strategies MEL reportingClimate strategy MEL reportingLocalization MEL reportingSupport to missions and buy-ins for impact evaluations and process evaluations by serving as a technical advisor and/or activity manager.Support other MEL staff as required to ensure delivery of Center-wide outcomes by December 2024.Liaise with Knowledge Management and Communications across all deliverables.Liaise with the Evidence team to support specific team-member tasks.Other MEL related tasks, as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree

and

six (6+)

or more years of relevant MEL professional experience or

Master’s degree

and

five (5+)

or more years of relevant MEL professional experience.Ability to obtain and maintain a facilities access clearance.Competency with quantitative, qualitative, and/or applied research methods including methodologies for impact evaluations, implementation research, and process evaluation designs.Knowledge of USAID MEL practices (e.g., AMELPs, Results Frameworks, Standard Indicators) is preferred.Skills and experience in complex program monitoring and evaluation.Commitment to producing outstanding work as a member of a fast-paced center.Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and to take initiative, with flexibility to changing priorities and an eagerness to learn.Robust organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to engage with people successfully and effectively within and across units in a diverse and inclusive workplace.What We BelieveZemiTek
