Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead and drive our Smart Cities offerings across key regions. This role is pivotal in positioning our innovative solutions in Safety & Security, Integrated Command and Control Centers, Cybersecurity, Vision-Based Safety and Security, Smart Operations, and Energy & Sustainability Management within the Smart Cities domain.

As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the public and private sectors. Your technical acumen, coupled with your sales expertise, will enable you to tailor our solutions to meet the unique needs of each client, driving revenue growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in Smart Cities solutions, focusing on Safety & Security, Integrated Command and Control Centers, Cybersecurity, and Smart Operations.

Client Engagement:

Identify, target, and engage with key decision-makers in municipalities, government agencies, utility companies, and private sector organizations to promote and sell Smart Cities solutions.

Business Development:

Explore and establish new business opportunities within the Smart Cities domain, including Connected Vehicles, Vision Analytics, Smart Meters Operations, and Energy Analytics.

Solution Customization:

Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand client needs and customize solutions that align with their specific requirements in areas such as Cybersecurity, Vision-Based Safety, and Energy & Sustainability Management.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, emerging technologies, and potential areas for growth within the Smart Cities sector.

Partnership Building:

Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with technology vendors, system integrators, and other key players in the Smart Cities ecosystem to enhance solution offerings and drive sales.

Travel:

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities across the geo of operation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

5-8 years of relevant sales experience in Smart Cities, Safety & Security, Cybersecurity, or related domains. Experience with integrated command and control centers, energy management, or similar solutions is highly desirable.

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of Smart Cities technologies and solutions, including Vision-Based Safety, Smart Meters Operations, Energy Analytics, and Cybersecurity.

Sales Acumen:

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in developing and executing sales strategies in a technology-driven environment.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
