About the Role:

As the Area Manager for moodytiger’s US expansion, you will report directly to our overseas executive team and play a critical role in driving our entry and growth in the US market. Your leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental in ensuring the success of multiple store locations as we establish our presence in the region. We are looking for a results-oriented, entrepreneurial retail leader who can manage a multi-store area while balancing critical business needs and fostering a customer-centric culture to build a committed team of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive US Expansion:

Lead and oversee the success of multiple store locations, ensuring alignment with moodytiger’s strategic goals for US market growth.

Leadership and Team Development:

Recruit, develop, and inspire high-performing store managers and teams dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.

Strategic Sales Planning:

Set and achieve area sales objectives, developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.

Customer Experience Excellence:

Cultivate a customer-obsessed culture by ensuring that store teams consistently deliver personalized and memorable customer experiences.

Operational Oversight:

Manage day-to-day operations across multiple stores, including scheduling, inventory control, visual merchandising, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Financial Accountability:

Take responsibility for the area’s P&L, ensuring that each store operates efficiently and within budget, while driving profitability.

Market Analysis and Adaptation:

Analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously refine strategies and improve store performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the executive team and other departments such as HR, merchandising, marketing, and operations to align area strategies with overall company objectives.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in multi-store retail management, with a strong background in sports, fashion, or apparel retail. Proven success in leading teams and driving business growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Leadership:

Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development, customer service, and achieving sales targets.

Strategic Thinking:

Ability to analyze market trends, develop strategic plans, and execute them effectively to drive growth and achieve business goals.

Operational Excellence:

Expertise in managing retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and financial oversight.

Communication:

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teams, customers, and the executive team.

Adaptability:

Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.

Travel:

Ability to travel 50-75% of the time or greater as required.

Location:

This position may be based in San Jose, San Diego, or the greater Los Angeles, CA region.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
