Why consider this job opportunity:Competitive base salary with comprehensive compensation packagesFlexible work hours and an open PTO policyFully remote position, allowing work from anywhere in the USAOpportunity to work with a transparent Executive Leadership TeamChance to contribute to the development of utility-scale energy storage projectsEngaging and impactful work in the renewable energy sectorWhat to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Manage vendor enrollment into AP ERP systems and process AP invoices associated with energy storage projectsOversee 1099 processing and W9 set-upsLead financial reporting for accounts payable, including accounting journals and vendor payment termsPrepare GAAP financial statements and support financial accounting audits related to project contractsManage sales tax and use tax accounting processes within accounts payableWhat is Required (Qualifications):Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience with a focus on GAAP principlesProven experience managing project-based accounts payable systems, particularly in Project Development, EPC, Construction, and Service ContractsProficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar financial accounting softwareStrong vendor management skills related to accounts payable and invoice processingAdvanced MS Excel skills, including macro/VBA writing capabilities, data queries, and pivot tablesHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Experience with renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, battery storage, or energy storage is highly desirableFamiliarity with national energy power market tariffs (WECC, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO) and incentives is beneficial
