The Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for all phases of subcontract administration including the procurement of supplies and services using procedures outlined in the Federal Acquisitions Regulations, as well as applicable Acquisition Regulations, public laws, and Westat policies. The position reports to a Senior Manager and is ideal for someone with experience working in a Federal Contracts environment.This position is a hybrid work arrangement (1-2 days on-site Rockville, MD) and remote eligible.Job ResponsibilitiesServe as the subcontract point of contact, draft, negotiate, and administer subcontract and vendor agreements.Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or other applicable regulations.Perform pre-award reviews of subcontractor documents.Perform risk assessments and compliance reviews in collaboration with research staff.Maintain, review, and track subcontractor information in company databases.Advise staff on appropriate methods of procurement and conduct necessary market analysis.Basic QualificationsTypically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Federal Government contracting and contract management environment or equivalent related work experience.Experience reviewing and negotiating a variety of Federal subcontract and procurement agreements.Demonstrated experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting HHS and commercial health related subcontract agreements.Demonstrated performance in subcontract management and oversight.Knowledge of MS Office Suite.Other Required QualificationsDemonstrated communication skills.Collaboration with teams, managers, and/or clients.Organization skills, including time management ability.Detail oriented.Westat offers a well-rounded and comprehensive benefits program focused on wellness and work/life balance.
