Fisher Construction Group is seeking a Senior Controller with a background in the construction industry. This position is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Fisher Construction Group. This role involves managing accounting activities, ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining internal controls, and providing strategic financial insights. The Senior Controller will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance and support organizational goals.Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development of financial models and projections.Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Coordinate with external auditors during audits and manage the resolution of audit findings.Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll.Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.Manage and mentor the accounting team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.Must have a construction accounting background or audit experience related to the construction industry.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Fisher Construction Group provides a highly-competitive wage and benefits package. Depending on experience, employment offers will range between

$148,813 to $169,484

annually, with a potential annual performance bonus up to
