Overview

We are hiring a Community Relations Manager who will develop strategies designed to favorably represent the company and make positive contributions to the community. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key external stakeholders, community organizations, and business groups within Global's footprint. This position will provide guidance to internal business partners on local political activity, and community issues that may impact state and federal government relations. The Manager will also supervise Community Relations Specialist(s). This position is based in our Waltham, MA office.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders.Educate the company on community viewpoints to help accomplish business objectives, and ensure the company is best positioned to receive favorable support from municipalities and communities.Serve as a point of contact for various government officials, business leaders, and community organizations.Work closely with internal and external parties, ensuring timely and effective communications with municipal leaders on permitting, licensing and/or maintenance activities.Attend community events, fundraisers, and industry seminars.Facilitate planning and implementation of events and other activities.Identify corporate giving opportunities within assigned territory and at regional and statewide levels.Collaborate and work cross functionally with relevant departments within the company."Fuel for You -
