About the Job:

The position of Pricing Coordinator will have primary responsibility for the oversight of the daily pricing processes and perform pricing entries in accordance with established Company policies and procedures.Work Schedule:Monday through FridayShift hours 8:30am - 5:00pm.

In This Role, You Will:Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, Windows. TruckMate experience preferred.Research and validate price discrepancies and disputesProcess all manual instructions received from Pricing Supervisor in accordance with the applicable proceduresExecute all rate quotes in a timely and accurate mannerProcess incoming instructions by any accepted means of communicationReturn any instructions that cannot be rated to the appropriate party for clarificationReceive, investigate and answer emails/queries from internal and external customers in a timely and accurate mannerContribute to the creation and maintenance of procedures and process improvementsEngage in internal projects and testing as required.ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.

Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or minimum of four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Knowledge of ocean industry information preferred but not required.Must have strong mathematical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Requires a high level of attention to detail.Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing workloads and maintaining proper documentation.Must be able to follow directions given and provide outstanding customer service.Must be able to work independently.Mathematical ability including multiple computations to arrive at pricing which meets percentage profit targets.Appropriately compute cost/pricing factors based on customer product, mode of transport, fees, and handling.Appropriately add and compute fees, time zone and schedule computations.Perform weight and measure conversions as well as financial conversions.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Must lift up to 30 lbs., sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, reach above head for files, grasp, handle, and perform finger operations. Must operate normal office equipment such as phone, computer, fax machine, and copy machine.Must be 18 or older.

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.
