We are seeking the ideal candidate for our Claims Associate opening for our growing insurance company!
The Claims Associate will be responsible for assisting the Claims Department in overall productivity. Scope of the position includes ensuring compliance with state mandated handling guidelines and delivering customer service to our insureds, claimants, and agencies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist adjusters by directing customers through the claims process and answering claims related questionsDevelop a basic understanding of the insurance policy in order to answer policy inquiries as they pertain to lossesContribute to maintaining call volume commensurate with unit objectivesAssist in handling of various, on-going responsibilities of the unit inclusive of unmatched mail, process tow bills, ordering police reports, mailing claim checks, etc., as neededReview and issue vendor paymentsAttach approved estimates to claim files / assign field inspections / drive-insHandle and process total loss titles, POA'sWork on special projects as directedQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Prior customer service experienceExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsGood typing/data entry skills (min. 30 wpm)Preferred:
