ASQ and ASQE enhance each other by providing member value for both individuals and organizations.The PositionThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the strategic planning of new business development for ASQE's offerings. The Business Development Manager will utilize conceptual and consultative selling strategies to identify and close new Organizational Members and business partnership opportunities. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and take initiative to help expand ASQE market reach and have strong experience in the field of B2B sales and business operations. Creativity, analytical strategic thinking, time management, and excellent listening, presentation, and communication skills are highly sought after for this role. This role will be a key member of the ASQE commercial team and will report directly to the Executive Director of Global Success.The salary range for this role is $99,000-$123,916 per year.Main ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and implement ASQE new business development initiatives while making strategic decisions and recommendations to leadership and collaborative teams.Develop and follow weekly strategic sales process to meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and yearly growth and revenue targets. Maintain weekly report on sales-focused performance metrics.Responsible for targeting, closing, and supporting the implementation of new organizational level client members and customers in support of ASQE's strategic plan initiatives. Ensures a smooth transition of new members or clients to the ASQE Organizational Member Success team for onboarding and engagement.Grow new business for ASQE Organizational Membership by identifying and securing new Organizational Members, building client relationships and identifying partnership agreements with high potential and mutual benefit.Mentor and advise team members in a collaborative team environment.Maintain a thorough understanding of ASQ and ASQE products and services, subject matter, and trends of the quality industry. Understand the connected customer and client journey between ASQ and ASQE.Conduct prospect needs analysis in collaboration with ASQ and ASQE teams to determine resources needed to secure new ASQE clients and ensure successful implementation.Strategically collaborate with ASQ and ASQE teams to develop relevant marketing campaigns and lead generation tools with industry-focused content. Partner to formulate strategy for collaborative partnership opportunities and provide Voice of the Customer (VOC) to enhance campaigns.Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships. Conduct market-facing presentations using PowerPoint to highlight benefits of ASQ/ASQE offerings to prospects and clients.Manage and execute proposal preparation and response process for clients, including content and offering positioning, and inputs from varying sources.Adheres to ASQE Values: Honesty, Health, Responsibility, Helpfulness, Capability, and Equality.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Bring Your Best: Position Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or similar field ;

minimum of 5 years of experience in professional conceptual B2B sales ;

minimum of 2 years of experience with using Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel ;

minimum of 2 years of experience with data analysis, forecasting and budgeting ;

minimum of 2 years of leadership and/or coaching experience ;

minimum of 2 years of experience with managing C-level and senior level relationships ;

minimum of 2 years of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM ;

or an equivalent combination.

The LocationASQE is conveniently situated in downtown Milwaukee, immediately adjacent to major freeway exits and the robust downtown economy.
