Marketing Specialist

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.The Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing global marketing efforts to ensure they are delivered as scheduled, within budget, on-brand and to the best possible quality. This position develops tools and best practices to support the execution of marketing campaigns, reports on marketing metrics, and provides general marketing support as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinate marketing effortsMeasure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and measure against goalsConduct market research for campaign developmentCollaborate with team and coordinate with other departments/officesKeep informed of the latest marketing strategies and trendsProvide PowerPoint design support as neededPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)Strong project management skills. Able to multitask, organize and prioritize work, meet tight deadlines and work independentlyStrong analytical skills and good attention to detailEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field5 years’ experience in corporate marketing or similar roleProficiency with Microsoft OfficeBasic – intermediate knowledge of creative tools including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint would be highly desirableADDITIONAL:The responsibilities associated with this job will change from time to time in accordance with the Company’s business needs.
