A law firm is actively seeking a Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a work-from-home position based in Cleveland, OH.Duties:
Manage and oversee Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, including preparation and filing of necessary legal documents.Provide legal advice to clients regarding bankruptcy options and implications.Conduct client consultations to assess financial situations and determine eligibility for bankruptcy.Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and hearings.Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate and timely case management.Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Ohio Bar admission is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer bankruptcy law.Skills:
Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy laws and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
