CAE Engineer

Position Description:

  • Perform SEATS CAE (static, quasi static, dynamic, non-linear with contact, implicit and explicit studies, etc...).
  • Daily responsibilities include developing and analyzing CAE models and correlating them with physical tests.
  • Lead component and system level design proposing feasible solutions, conducting optimizations, performing robustness analysis and cascading relevant information to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Interaction with GES engineers (India) to make sure correct seat development and CAE requirements are met properly in multiple programs.
  • Report creation and presentation of results to stakeholders
  • Develop knowledge in new CAE related technologies
Skills Required:
  • 15+ years LSDYNA
  • Leading CAE Team
  • Problem Solving at OEM
  • Excellent Communication
  • Excellent Post Processing Method development
Skills Preferred:
  • NASTRAN Optimization
  • Finite Element Method
  • Office Suite
  • Efficiency
  • Quick/Self learner
  • Programing a plus
Experience Required:
  • 10+ yrs in automotive
  • Seat CAE Analyses
  • OEM onsite support
  • Product Development
  • Test/CAE Correlation
Experience Preferred:
  • Other OEM supports
  • Familiar w/ manf. process
Education Required:
  • BSME
Education Preferred:
  • MS
