We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Clinical Director

to oversee our behavioral health and mental health services. The Clinical Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure the highest quality of care, develop treatment programs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This individual will drive clinical strategies, provide leadership, and ensure a client-centered approach in delivering services to patients with mental health and substance use disorders.

Tasks

Oversee and manage all clinical operations related to behavioral health, including mental health and substance use disorder services.

Supervise a multidisciplinary team of therapists, counselors, social workers, and medical staff to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Develop, implement, and update treatment protocols and clinical procedures in accordance with best practices and state and federal guidelines.

Monitor patient outcomes, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure that all services are client-centered and trauma-informed.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and integrated service delivery.

Oversee clinical training, onboarding, and professional development for staff to ensure adherence to treatment models.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA, Medicaid/Medicare standards, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission or CARF).

Conduct regular clinical audits, assessments, and evaluations to improve service quality and efficiency.

Develop and manage the clinical budget, including staff resource allocation, and ensure the financial sustainability of clinical services.

Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, operational decisions, and service expansion initiatives.

Engage with community partners, stakeholders, and families to promote behavioral health services and advocate for patient needs.

Requirements

Master’s degree

in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) ,

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) ,

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or

Clinical Psychologist

licensed in Kentucky.

Minimum of

5-7 years

of experience in a clinical leadership role within mental health, behavioral health, or substance use treatment.

Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, integrated healthcare, and evidence-based treatment models.

Proven experience in program development, clinical staff supervision, and quality improvement processes.

Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations, particularly as they pertain to mental health services.

Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
