Job Summary:

The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and treatment programs at the Mental Health facility. This role involves managing a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and developing effective treatment strategies. The Clinical Director will work to enhance the facility's services and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

Provide leadership and direction to the clinical team, including therapists, counselors, and support staff.

Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols to ensure quality care.

Program Development:

Oversee the design and implementation of evidence-based treatment programs for substance abuse.

Evaluate and enhance clinical programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Clinical Supervision:

Provide clinical supervision and support to staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.

Conduct regular meetings with clinical staff to discuss case management and treatment plans.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and services.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with medical staff, administrative teams, and external partners to coordinate patient care.

Serve as a liaison between the facility and community organizations, promoting awareness and education about substance abuse treatment.

Budget and Resource Management:

Assist in managing the clinical department's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Oversee the procurement of clinical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.

Licensed in the state of Ohio as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a Mental Health treatment setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

In-depth knowledge of substance abuse treatment modalities and clinical best practices.

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with some evening or weekend hours required based on facility needs. Work may involve exposure to patients in crisis and requires emotional resilience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
