CEO - Substance Abuse Treatment Facility

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our substance abuse treatment facility near Richmond, VA. The CEO will be responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial performance of the facility, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare administration, with a focus on substance abuse treatment and Medicaid services.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the facility's mission and objectives.

Provide visionary leadership and direction to all staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with the board of directors to define and articulate the facility’s vision and strategic goals.

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Implement policies and procedures that promote high standards of clinical care and administrative efficiency.

Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including Medicaid requirements.

Financial Oversight:

Develop and manage the facility’s budget, ensuring financial health and sustainability.

Identify and secure funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships.

Oversee financial reporting and ensure transparency and accountability.

Clinical and Programmatic Excellence:

Ensure the delivery of high-quality substance abuse treatment programs that meet the needs of the community.

Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, using data to inform improvements and innovations.

Foster partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

Human Resources and Staff Development:

Recruit, hire, and retain a qualified and motivated team of professionals.

Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with experience in a senior leadership role.

Proven experience managing a Medicaid-funded healthcare facility, preferably in substance abuse treatment.

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including Medicaid and substance abuse treatment standards.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and manage complex budgets.

Compensation:

Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.

$120,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
