The Role
Are you ready to build out Venmo’s brand activation presence? We are seeking a creative, innovative and organized leader to build out our Partnership Activation Strategy.
In this role, you will:
Work with our largest and most strategic partners across sport and entertainment to create meaningful and viral Venmo experiences.
Plan, execute and scale marketing programs that drive mutual growth and amplify our impact on the business and our customers.
Bring break-through marketing ideas to the table, with a can-do attitude and a desire to get things across the finish line.
Work cross-functionally managing creative agency relationships, internal stakeholders and external partnerships, bringing everyone with you towards your vision and goals.
Develop wrap-up reports and identify key learnings to optimize and inform strategic look-forward plans.

Key responsibilities
Partnership Development:
Engage with key partners to highlight our brand through cultural moments – thinking creatively to identify opportunities that seamlessly engage with Venmo’s target audience and strategic goals. Strategy Creation:
Develop Venmo’s partnership activation strategy to drive brand love, engagement and growth – alongside Venmo’s Head of Partnership Marketing. Identify opportunities to scale marketing programs to propel growth and drive efficiency. Program + Stakeholder Management:
Develop and present integration activation plans in collaborations with partners, cross-functional stakeholders and agencies. Oversee agency resources and sponsorship contracts ensuring timely delivery of assets, budgeting and evaluation of new opportunities. Campaign Management:
Execute flawlessly by aiding in campaign development including in-venue branding, customer journey mapping and digital/social amplification. Lead squad teams across the company. Performance Tracking:
Partner with analytics, operations and finance to define program KPIs and deliver on business goals. Define a test and learn agendas to increase sponsorship impact. Develop and socialize wrap up reports to iterate on future strategy. Requisite Experience
Marketing or Partnership Manager with 8+ years experience (Partner Management, Marketing Strategy, Brand Activation experience highly valued) Experience managing agencies and/or production companies is a must. Experience in the sports or entertainment industry is ideal. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals; project management experience – aligning multi-stakeholder groups and utilizing relationships and resources to drive results. Marketing experience executing campaigns across a diverse range of channels – and within a rapidly evolving business environment. Outstanding Communications and Executive Presence: can partner, influence and thrive in a global matrixed organization with an ability to present to all levels of colleagues. Customer Champion with demonstrated track record in designing marketing solutions with customer at center. Strong sense of ownership, curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit.
