What you'll doOur Microservices team builds and operates complex solutions for global business challenges that cross cultures, legal jurisdictions, and impacts millions of people and businesses every day. We hire people with a broad set of skills and people who want to work on creating never-been-done-before solutions at scale while ensuring world-class reliability and security.Docusign is looking for a seasoned software engineer to join our microservices framework team focused on building highly scalable, available, and reliable distributed systems. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering.ResponsibilitiesThink about how to solve problems in scale and build automation to manage complex software systemsDevelop testable, high-quality, and ship-ready code with ample test coverageWork as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of microservices platform
Job DesignationHybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
What you bringBasic5+ years of hands-on software development experience in an object-oriented programming language such as C#, C++ or JavaExperience with Istio live mesh2+ years experience writing C#/Java code and working with cloud deployment and configuration tools using scripting and configuration platformsExperience with being a part of on call rotationExperience with driving decisions based on Telemetry and metrics to take a data driven approachPreferredBe open minded, forward thinking and passionate about great software platform and cloud technologiesA passion to learn new software technologies and platformsExperiences with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git), build process, testing, and code releaseExperience with analytics and visualization toolsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environmentHave an interest in working on a highly available site
Wage TransparencyBased on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salaryWashington and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus, equity and
benefits .
