ASML Wilton (Connecticut) is the largest US site (with >3,000 employees) and hosts research and development as well as manufacturing facilities supporting Extreme Ultraviolet (High NA and Low NA EUV), Deep Ultraviolet (DUV), and the Applications Business. The Development and Engineering (D&E) and resulting Manufacturing Operations in Wilton are an integral part of ASML’s global supply chain owning the development and production of many of the modules that go into the world’s most cutting-edge machines.

This location has been at the cutting edge of photolithography for the semiconductor industry in various forms for ~50 years, with >20 as part of ASML. Double digit growth is expected for the site and company in the coming years.

Job MissionWe are hiring a Director of Finance and Project Management Office for the site who will contribute to our further growth ambitions in the next decade. This role is responsible for all finance-related activities of ASML Wilton, requiring strong relationships across business lines and sectors in ASML Netherlands. As Director for Finance Business Control, you act as a strong business partner and member of the Site Management team. You are also part of the Global Business Control team of Global Manufacturing.

You will effectively manage financial and business control processes and aspects to enable achievement of financial and operational strategic objectives and budgets at the Wilton Site. You will also coordinate performance review processes like Long Term Financial Plan, Budget, rolling forecast, and Product and R&D Program cost reviews.

Role and ResponsibilitiesPartner with and drive the business to achieve their short and long term objectives.Be a bridge builder, with independent (finance) view on what is best for the company as a whole.Drive optimization and improvement of processes.Participate in business improvement projects and validate the business cases.Drive the business review cycle.Drive the monthly, yearly and Long Term Financial Planning processes.Identify (business and financial) risks and opportunities.Execute ad hoc analysis and reporting.Managing Director responsibilities; SOX compliance, business risk accountability.Perform other duties as assigned or required.

The main interfaces of the Director Business Control at the Wilton Site are the Site, Factory, Development and Engineering, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, and Corporate Real Estate Management Teams and their direct reports, other Finance professionals in the Netherlands, and the supporting Financial Control and Accounting groups.

Education and ExperienceMaster degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.About 10-15 years experience in Finance roles, including at least 5 years in Business Control as part of a Management Team, in large-size international industrial companies, preferably in complex technology businesses.Track record in financial and business control at business unit, divisional or group level.
