The Frost Art Museum is seeking a student to join their team of professionals. The student will assist the Assistant Director of Administrative Services with financial fund management. Duties will include:Assisting with updating financial spreadsheets and reports (data entry).Assisting with processing invoices, deposits, and payments (checks, wire transfers, credit cards, merchant processing).Assisting with filing financial documents and records.Assisting with monthly reconciliation.Assisting with researching discrepancies.Assisting with special projects as assigned by supervisor.Assisting with special events logistics.Job Category
Federal Work StudyDesired Qualifications
Finance/Accounting background or major.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently.Possess strong analytical skills.Who May Apply
Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package. Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Upon graduating, FWS employment must end.Work Schedule
