The Web Editor sets the vision for the student-run website. Ensures FIUSM.com is working and accessible to the FIU community. Works hand in hand with the general manager of WRGP and editor in chief of The Beacon to ensure there is fresh content on FIUSM.com daily. Ensures directors are uploading content to the website daily. Serves as the leader and face of the website.This internship opportunity will have an employee supervisor guiding and mentoring students throughout the experience. Student and Supervisor must review learning goals and objectives and participate in a formal meeting at the midpoint and end of the semester to discuss and complete Student Evaluation and Employer Evaluation.By the end of the internship, student will have gained valuable practical experience, learned how to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, and experienced real-life challenges and situations.Job Category

Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.Work Schedule
