Serves as contact person for the departmentGreet and direct visitors to proper destinationAnswer phone inquiries from public, faculty, students, and direct phone calls appropriatelyRun campus errandsUpdate and maintain databases and archiving for the office as directed by the college's Academic Affairs leadership and teamAssist Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences Associate Dean of Academic Affairs office with secretarial supportProvides administrative support to the office/department by providing reception services, scheduling appointments, meetings, filing, researching files, and other documents as directedAs need arises, assists office staff of various departments by answering questions and providing information, locating desired information and materials, typing and copying materialsJob Category
Federal Work StudyWho May Apply
Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.Work Schedule
