Our mission is to enhance patient outcomes and improve healthcare processes by providing cutting-edge solutions to healthcare providers and patients alike.Job Summary:As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is critical in providing transparent and timely reporting to key company stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine accounting expertise with strong analytical skills, enabling them to proactively solve problems and manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.This is a role for a motivated team player who can think strategically, plan ahead, and adapt to the dynamic needs of a growing company. Your expertise will help ensure that our financial processes are efficient, reliable, and aligned with Circadia Health’s mission to improve healthcare outcomes and save lives.Key Responsibilities:Finance and Accounting Processes:

Manage the company’s bookkeeping processes including accruals, cash, payroll, expense management to ensure integrity in the company’s financials and related reporting.Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.Assist in managing other accounting functions, lead budgeting, guide the company on technical accounting needs, and support internal reporting processes.Help optimize and implement accounting systems, particularly Quickbooks, Bill.com, Expensify.

External Reporting:

Support the preparation of interim and annual financial statements and coordinate with external stakeholders during monthly and quarterly reporting processes.

Internal Controls:

Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure adherence to finance and accounting policies and procedures.Support the preparation of materials for quarterly board meetings.

System Optimization:

Lead the optimization of existing accounting systems and software, identifying and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Tax Support:

Act as the primary liaison between Circadia Health and third-party tax preparers, coordinating the preparation of necessary documents for audits and reviews.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis and reporting on an as-needed basis to support the organization’s financial health and strategic planning.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.Be a go-to resource for finance and accounting related inquiries across the organization.Meet regularly with C-suite to share financial results and insights.

International Collaboration:

Collaborate with our internal UK team and external UK accounting compliance consultants on accounting and finance operations, projects and reporting.

Skills & QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA license preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 -4 years of experience, Big 4 public accounting and industry experience preferred. Startup experience is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts.Proficiency with financial accounting software and supporting applications (Quickbooks, Bill.com, Expensify).Familiarity with currency translation, IFRS.

Analytical Skills:

Advanced Excel skills, including vLookUps, Pivot Tables, and other data analysis tools.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.

Organizational Skills:

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Business Acumen:

A strategic thinker with the ability to align accounting processes with the company’s broader business goals.Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
