Led by a leadership team that has been together for over 10 years, you will join a proven team, culture, and strategy to drive innovation within the IT outsourcing industry while developing your skillset with opportunities for internal growth.ResponsibilitiesThis role will focus on providing IT support to Executive Level, G&A, laboratory, and related research systems.Resource may be required to perform work at C level employees' homes.You may be required to assist with offsite visits in the area, including home offices and company events.You will have a good understanding of laboratory instruments and their associated IT systems and software, including installation, support, and maintenance.You will be the primary contact and support for troubleshooting instrument software and machines including but not limited to user access, network settings, backup, and storage management.You will work with internal business partners such as Research, Tech Ops, Quality, and IT Operations, as well as external vendors, to ensure the IT systems meet all functional, operational, and procedural requirements, and identify opportunities for improved or new systems.Build, support, and troubleshoot MacOS and Windows 10/11. MacOS is a requirement of this role.Maintain service packs for enterprise applications, including QC, testing, and verification on all supported Mac clients.Manage, configure, and deploy software, packages, and upgrades to endpoints.Support lab hardware, including maintenance, upgrades, and swaps of computers, instruments, and scientific software.Troubleshoot and resolve network, WiFi, and VPN connectivity issues.Support and troubleshoot printers and multifunction devices within the company, ensuring they function optimally.Responsible for user onboarding and off-boarding.Administer and support Office 365 applications and services, including but not limited to Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.Support and administer authentication and identity management services, i.e., Active Directory, Okta, SAML, SSO.Remotely support users by using screen-sharing tools such as ScreenConnect.Participate in IT projects, aiding in the strategic deployment of new systems and technologies to advance organizational goals.Support video conferencing systems and equipment, ensuring reliable connectivity and quality for meetings and collaborative projects.Educate staff through training sessions on the effective use of IT systems, enhancing company-wide technological competence and security awareness.Document, track, and monitor all service desk requests and ensure resolution in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal recurrence of the problem.Develop, author, and update technical documentation, crafting detailed training guides and knowledge base articles.Maintain current and accurate inventory of all IT assets.B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience.Preferred QualificationsCandidate has demonstrated expertise in MacOS, Windows 10/11, Office 365, Okta, MS 365 suite, and video conferencing systems.A strong understanding of endpoint management platforms and services, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Autopilot.Working knowledge of Microsoft Services such as DNS, DHCP, and file & print services.Experience administering enterprise-grade AV (Defender, CrowdStrike).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clear, concise technical documentation and customer service.Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and excellent follow-up skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and changing priorities.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Slipstream IT is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
