Vice President of Operations (Supply Chain)

in any of our Concordance locations or fully remote. The

Vice President of Operations

is a key leadership position responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing warehouse distribution operations across the organization. This role requires close collaboration with Regional Directors to ensure the development and implementation of efficient and cost-effective operational systems that align with the organization's strategic goals and adapt to its future needs. The

Vice President of Operations

also plays a critical role in guiding the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team, ensuring that comprehensive safety protocols are established, communicated, and strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment. Additionally, this position involves monitoring performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of operational excellence and safety throughout the organization. The

must possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage these responsibilities and contribute to the organization's overall success.

Essential Functions:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Works closely with Human Resources to hire management-level staff in the department.When necessary, assists with training and developing new leaders in the department.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.Works directly with Regional Directors to manage and optimize each territory.Mentor and develop individuals within the operations team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's warehouse operations division.Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.Collaborate on cost estimates and staffing requirements for projects.Oversight and advise on the departmental budget.Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief operating officer and other leadership.Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.Travel required up to 75% of time.Other duties as assigned.

What You will Need to be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field required.At least ten (10) years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership to drive an empowered, accountable culture, and lead others through change.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.
