The Vice President of Operations is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. The Vice President of Operations will lead and mentor the Company operations leaders. The Vice President of Operations will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and plan, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the Company and EDP dental practices. The Vice President’s work will result in optimized operations and identification and implementation of cost-effective systems and solutions to meet the current and evolving needs of the organization.Vice President of Operations Job Responsibilities:

Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systemsEstablishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operationsCollaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectivesOversees operational activities of the companyDevelops, leads and mentors operational leadersEnsures operations team leaders and their teams are properly trainedResponsible for ensuring operational leadership and their teams have easy electronic access to revenue cycle metrics relating to the centers. Responsible for ensuring we have metrics and goals to measure performance that are well communicated and administered.Identifies, recommends, and implements cost-effective processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materialsEnsures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and visionEstablishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and measures to ensure effective and consistent support and executionDevelops process and workflow messaging for the field, ensuring that all communications to the practices are understandable, accurate, and consistentReviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projectsCollaborates with finance to establish operations and facilities budgets and administers the budgetsPresents periodic performance reports and metrics to the Executive Leadership Team and/or the Board of DirectorsMaintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations managementPerforms other related duties as assignedIdeal Candidates will:

MBA preferred, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or other healthcare-related field requiredAt least 10 years of healthcare-related experience including 5 years in upper management/relevant leadership role requiredPhysical Requirements:

Requires the ability to sit at a computer for hours at a time, and travel to and work in dental office locations.
