Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our hospitality team. As the head of the restaurant, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of the business, from food and beverage operations to staff management and customer service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and fine dining, with the ability to effectively manage a team of waitstaff, cooks, bartenders, and other restaurant staff. Duties:

Oversee the front and back of the house to ensure that all food and beverage operations are running smoothly and meeting the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Manage and train a diverse team of staff to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and attention.

Develop and implement effective staff training programs to ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about restaurant policies and procedures.

Manage the restaurant's budget, ensuring that all expenses are accurately accounted for and that the restaurant is operating within budget constraints.

Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners.

Oversee all bar operations, including training, inventory, and ordering of liquor and wines.

Oversee the restaurant's maintenance and upkeep, ensuring that the property is always clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Monitor and analyze restaurant's performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a hospitality management role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant setting.

Extensive knowledge of liquor and wines.

Strong knowledge of vital restaurant operations, including labor cost, food cost, and inventory management.

Experience in staff management, including training and development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Strong budgeting and financial management skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring that all aspects of operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Ability to travel is required.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
