Bob's Clam Hut is a popular seafood shack in the bustling Kittery Mall. We are seeking a General Manager with fast food and/or restaurant experience to join our team.
Bob's is part of the First Serve Hospitality Group which has other restaurants in the Kittery, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit area.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. You will oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and manage staff at the registers.
Back of the house management experience is essential, as you’ll ensure compliance with health and safety restaurant regulations. You will lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment.
Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and that customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Organize and supervise shifts
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Skills:
Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role (+1 yr.)
Proven customer service experience as a manager
Food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
Familiarity with restaurant POS software
Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
